Aglianico
Red Wine
Winner of Bronze at the 2020 NC Fine Wines Competition. This phenomenal red grape originated in Greece and was brought to the south of Italy by Greek settlers. Historians believe that Aglianico may be the grape with the longest consumer history of all. As for taste, a mildly oak aged wine with a calmly intense flavor, reminiscent of chocolate, berries, cherries, plums, spice, leather, fine natural tannins. As we say in Greek, “nostimo” which means “delicious!”
